1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tidy AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Tidy AI is an AI-powered personal life organization app that helps you manage events, finances, notes, trips, projects, and more through conversational AI. The service includes:

• AI-powered chat assistant for creating and managing life data
• Calendar synchronization with your iPhone Calendar
• Expense tracking and financial organization
• Note-taking with AI summarization
• Trip planning and project management
• Share Extension for importing content from other apps
• Daily Pulse briefings and category insights

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Tidy AI. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Tidy AI for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service's infrastructure.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service beyond normal app usage.
• Upload malicious content, malware, or content that infringes on others' intellectual property.
• Abuse the AI assistant by attempting to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

5. AI Features and Limitations

Tidy AI uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide assistance. Please be aware that:

• AI responses are generated by a machine learning model and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• AI suggestions regarding financial matters, health, or scheduling should not be considered professional advice. Always verify important information independently.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.
• AI features require an active internet connection and may be subject to rate limits or availability.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Tidy AI (events, notes, expenses, messages, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service, including sending it to our AI provider for processing.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Tidy AI may offer premium features through in-app subscriptions. If applicable:

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's subscription terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policies.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Tidy AI available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that harms the service or other users. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tidy AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, financial losses based on AI suggestions, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of Tidy AI shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tidy AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Tidy AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
