1. Information We Collect

When you use Tidy AI, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication credentials (password hash) when you sign up. If you use Apple Sign-In, we receive your Apple ID identifier and optionally your name and email.
• Content You Create: Events, notes, expenses, trips, projects, and chat messages you create within the app. This includes text, dates, amounts, and categories.
• Shared Content: Text, URLs, images, and documents you share into Tidy AI via the Share Extension from other apps.
• Calendar Data: If you grant calendar access, we sync events from your iPhone Calendar to display them within the app. This is a one-way read operation.
• Device Information: Device token for push notifications (if enabled), timezone, and app version.

2. How We Use Your Information

• AI Processing: Your content is sent to our AI service (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to provide intelligent responses, summaries, insights, and organization. Chat history (up to 20 recent messages) is included for conversational context.
• Organization: We categorize and organize your content to provide features like Daily Pulse briefings, category insights, and smart suggestions.
• Notifications: We use your device token to send event reminders and daily briefings if you opt in.
• Service Improvement: We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the app.

3. How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database service with the following protections:

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures you can only access your own data.
• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure Keychain.
• Biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) is available as an additional security layer.

4. AI Data Processing

When you send messages to the AI assistant, your message and relevant context (recent events, expenses, notes, etc.) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. AI-processed data is returned to Tidy AI and stored in your account.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider, acting as a data processor.
• Anthropic: Our AI provider, which processes your chat messages and content for AI features.
• Apple: For Apple Sign-In authentication and push notification delivery.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored in your account through the app.
• Export: Export your data in a machine-readable format via Settings.
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Correction: Update or correct your personal information at any time.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Tidy AI is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
